Guitar Lessons - GIGS (Gaiser Insider Guitar Studio)

Initial Ad Budget: 75 dollars a month

A small one man business teaching student guitar lessons, GIGS was in need of a cost effective strategy to attract more students to its program. After reviewing the goals, Little City Advertising created a geo-targeted campaign with a focus range of the metropolitan suburbs of DC on the Maryland side. More over, another campaign covered a larger area for the few keywords that offered a low cost-per-click. The campaign went better than expected, with a conversion of one new student for every 10 ads that are clicked. The value of each of these students, given the average number of weeks they stay with the program is roughly 200 dollars. GIGS was able to attract new customers to its site for just over $1 per click. GIGS turned one in ten of these clicks into a new customer. For a total customer acquisition cost of $10 per new customer and each new customer spending averaging 200-300 dollars in lessons, GIGS was overjoyed. Needless to say, with GIGS' incredible return on investment, it was decided that we could spend additional monies to reach an even larger pool of potential customers. We widened the keywords and geo-target area and it is still paying off today as GIGS is beginning to run out of room to teach all the students that are signing up.

CH Consultant Group - Franchise Sales and Development

Franchises are the most popular small business investments in the U.S. and make up one in every twelve businesses. Finding the right franchise for a particular investor, however, can be a daunting task. The CH Consultant Group was started to help potential franchisees identify, research and eventually invest in the perfect franchise opportunity. The CH Consultant Group needed a web site overhaul and an introduction to search engine marketing. Little City Advertising identified over 150 keywords that had potential for this businesses. Segmenting messages, optimizing ad copy and targeting keywords with high conversions rates has let the CH Consulting Group close even more deals than before. With commissions for each new franchise as high as $15,000, it is no wonder tappinig into a new acquisition channel proved such a success story for this group. In fact, revenues from marketing online have now exceeded previous marketing channels such as direct mail and magazine advertising.
